With Billie, you can offer your B2B customers flexible payment by invoice – completely risk-free for you. This helps you increase your conversion rate and significantly reduce abandoned purchases.


Requirements for Activation
To activate Billie as a payment method in your CopeCart account, the following requirements must be met:

  • Your CopeCart account is KYC-verified.

  • You have at least one approved product in your account.

Activation:
If you’d like to use Billie, please contact our support team. We will activate the option for you. Once it’s enabled, you can use Billie for all eligible products.

Terms of Use

  • Only for B2B customers

  • No trial period available

  • Allowed product types: All

  • Cart value: Between €50 and €19,999

  • Standard fee: 6.99% per order

Overview of the Verification Process

Billie performs a real-time risk assessment for every order. Various data sources and evaluation criteria are used:

- Real-time credit check
Billie works with external credit agencies (e.g. Creditsafe, CRIF, or Bürgel) to assess a company's creditworthiness within seconds. The following factors are considered, among others:

  • Payment history

  • Existing collection entries

  • Type of business

  • Company age and size

- Company data verification
The information entered by the customer (e.g. company name, legal form, VAT ID, address) is checked against official registers and databases, such as commercial registers or company directories.

- Credit limit / score assignment
Based on the assessment, an individual credit limit and risk profile is created for each buyer. This limit can automatically adjust over time — for example, after repeated successful payments.

This check is carried out separately for every order to take into account current risks or changes in company status.
