Welcome to CopeTrack! This powerful tool helps you optimize your ad tracking and gain full visibility into your leads and conversions. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the key setups so you can get started right away.

🛠️ Sign-Up & First Steps

Log in

  1. Go to your CopeCart account and navigate to your purchased products.

  2. Click the CopeTrack link – you will be logged in automatically.

Understanding the Dashboard

After your first login, you’ll see your dashboard – currently with no data yet.
Here, you will later find all recorded leads, events, and campaign results.


🎯 Your First Tracking Setup

Setting Up Lead Tracking

  1. Click "Add Lead" to start tracking your first lead.

  2. Give your tracking a name (e.g., “Test Lead CopeTrack”).

Entering the Correct Domain

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Enter only the domain name (without https:// or www.).
The domain must match the page from which the tracking events are sent.

Selecting a Platform

CopeTrack works with Meta (Facebook), Google, and TikTok.
Depending on the platform, you’ll need your Ad Account ID (e.g., Meta: act=1234567890).
Enter the ID and confirm your selection.


📡 Implementing Tracking Scripts

Now it gets exciting! To collect data, CopeTrack’s tracking scripts must be embedded on your website.

  1. Go to CopeTrack Dashboard → "Manuals".

  2. Copy the tracking script for the Landing Lead Event.

  3. Insert it on your website (e.g., in the <head> section of your shop or landing page).

💡 Tip: If you want to track multiple event types, you can also set up a "Demo Call" event or a "Purchase" event.


📊 Adding UTM Parameters to Ads

To track exactly which ads bring in visitors, UTM parameters must be set up correctly.

  1. Open your Ads Manager (Meta, Google, TikTok).

  2. Scroll to the "URL Parameters" section.

  3. Add the CopeTrack tracking link (details can be found in the manual).

  4. Save & publish – from now on, CopeTrack will automatically recognize all ad attributions!


🔄 Analyzing Real-Time Data

Once your tracking is set up, you can monitor the following data in CopeTrack:

Page Views – Who is visiting your page?
Leads – Who is interacting with your offer?
Conversions – Which ads generate sales?
ROI & CPA – How much does each lead or sale cost you?

🎛 Use Filters: Select specific timeframes or platforms to get the exact insights you need.


✏️ Editing Leads Later

If you need to modify an existing lead setup, you can do so at any time.

  1. Click "Edit Configuration" in the top right corner of the Lead Overview.

  2. A settings window will open where you can:

    • Rename the lead for better organization.

    • Update the lead domain if the tracked website has changed.

    • Add or adjust Ad Account IDs for Meta, Google, TikTok, or Pinterest.

    • Enter a Google Manager Account ID if using Google Ads.

    • Activate Klaviyo integration by toggling the switch.

  3. Save changes by clicking the blue "Save Changes" button.

  4. To permanently delete a lead, use the red "Delete Lead" button.

💡 Tip: All changes take effect immediately, and your tracking data updates accordingly.
