In this help article you will learn how to upload your e-book files.

Upload e-book file

When you create an e-book product, you can add the files directly at your product editing page.

  • To add a file to your e-book product in CopeCart, create a new e-book product or open the edit mode in your existing product and proceed to the 'Download Product' section.

  • Activate the "Upload product" slider to enable the upload. Now select the file that will be unlocked for your customers to download after purchasing an e-book and set the restrictions for the download.

  • Buyers receive an email with a download link for the e-book immediately after purchase. This link remains active for the number of days and downloads you specified when you uploaded your file.

To notice

  • You can upload one file per product.

If you want to upload multiple files, compress them into a ZIP file and upload them.

  • The maximum file size is 5 GB.

  • Customers will get access to the file after successful completion of the order, even if the payment status is pending.

  • You can upload an e-book file in one of the following formats: .azw3, .epub, .fb2, .djvu, .iba, .lit, .lrf, .mobi, .opf, .pdb, .pdf, .prc, .rft, .tcr, .zip.

  • If the number of downloads exceeds the specified maximum number, access to the file is no longer possible.
