Integration Mailchimp via Zapier

Mailchimp is an online platform for email marketing that allows companies to create, automate and analyze email campaigns. By connecting to and using CopeCart, contacts are transferred to MailChimp, where they are added to an email list, for example.

  • To connect to Zapier, follow this link

  • Log in to your Zapier account and select your already created "webhook" Zap.

  • Select “Mailchimp” and then select your matching event. You may need to sign in to your Mailchimp account first if you haven't used Mailchimp with Zapier yet (Zapier will redirect you to the sign in page).

  • At the point “Action” you will see the mask, which you can fill in yourself according to your requirements.

  • Select Mailchimp App.

  • Select an action event from a dropdown list and press Continue.

    This example uses the Add/Update Subscriber option as the event.

    This means that every time the product is purchased, a new contact with the appropriate parameters will be created in a Mailchimp contact list. You can, of course, use any other option.

  • Choose a Mailchimp account (your personal or your business account) and click "Next".

  • Customize the configurations: Tell Zapier which parameters received from CopeCart customers should be forwarded to Mailchimp:

  • Next, test your connection between Zapier and Mailchimp:

  • At Mailchimp, you can check if everything is working properly:

  • If you want to integrate CopeCart and Mailchimp via Zapier for another of your products, enable the Zapier IPN interface for each product on a product edit page.
