Connection to DigiMember via Zapier

DigiMember, Zapier, IPN

Updated over a week ago

DigiMember is a WordPress plugin specifically designed for the creation and management of membership sites.

DigiMember allows users to make content available to registered members and control access based on membership levels.

Through integration with CopeCart, DigiMember enables the purchase and management of memberships.

DigiMember offers features such as automatic emails, drip content and API support that allows users to extend the functionality of their membership sites.

The plugin is designed to be user-friendly and can be easily integrated into an existing WordPress website without the need for extensive coding knowledge.

Connecting CopeCart with DigiMember - step by step:

  1. Create a Zapier account: If you don't have a Zapier account yet, create one on the Zapier website.

  2. Create a Zap:

    • Log in to your Zapier account and click on "Make a Zap" to create a new Zap. Select the "Zaps" option.

    • Please select the "Zaps" option

  3. Set trigger:

    • Select "Webhook" as trigger tool and connect Zapier to CopeCart under IPN integrations. You can find detailed instructions on how to do this in our Help Center.

    • Select "Catch Hook" as the event.

    • Determine a child key and enter it in CopeCart under the "Password" tab.

    • Copy the webhook URL under the "Test" tab in Zapier and paste it into CopeCart under "Notification URL".

    • Save the changes and activate the IPN connection for the desired product.

  4. Set action:

    • Select DigiMember as the action app.

    • Select "Create an Order" as the event

    • Click on "Sign In" under the "Account" tab.

    • Add the link to your member area and the API key

  5. Prepare data transfer:

    • Make sure you have the following customer data available: email address, first name, last name and order number. Note that at least one e-mail address is required.

  6. Select product:

    • From your product list, select the product to be assigned when the zap is executed.

  7. Test Zap:

    • Perform a test run of your Zap to ensure that a new order is created correctly with the test data. Make sure that the corresponding emails are also sent. Use one of your own e-mail addresses for test purposes.

  8. Activate Zap:

    • Switch on the Zap so that the automation is active and the data is transmitted to DigiMember in future

Once you have completed these steps, Zapier will automatically synchronize the data between CopeCart and DigiMember according to the trigger and action conditions you have defined.
