What are affiliates and how do they help you sell?
An affiliate is a sales partner who promotes your product using their own unique referral link. These links contain tracking parameters that allow sales to be clearly and accurately assigned – so you know exactly who referred the customer.
If a sale is made via that link, the affiliate automatically receives a pre-defined commission through CopeCart.

How to activate the affiliate program on CopeCart
If you want affiliates to promote your products, you can activate an affiliate program in your CopeCart account.
To do this, go to your product (edit mode) and navigate to the "Affiliate Settings" section. There, you’ll find a toggle labeled "Activate affiliate program."
Afterwards, you can:
Add a link to your sales page (Landing Page → Checkout)
Provide an affiliate support page with marketing materials and key info
List your product on the marketplace to boost visibility
Define commissions as a percentage and/or fixed amount
Approve affiliate requests automatically or manually

You set an affiliate commission of 40%.

You earn €600, and the affiliate receives €400 – all automatically.
